 FC Copenhagen-Fans against Racism.

FC Copenhagen-Fans against Racism is an unofficial and open association of FC Copenhagen-fangroups, who actively takes a stand against racism. As Copenhagen’s biggest and leading football club, FC Copenhagen attracts many and different kinds of people. It is a characteristic of FC Copenhagen that both players and fans represent many different cultures, which is a strength we should be proud of.  FC Copenhagen is the Club in Denmark with the most diverse fanculture, and the fans are proud of this diversity. All people are welcome in FC Copenhagen, because the basis of our unity is our united love for the club.

There is no doubt that the majority of FC Copenhagen fans says no to racism, and FC Copenhagen-Fans against racism is not an initiative directed against telling the fans how to behave in “PARKEN”. It is rather an urging for all to appreciate the cultural diversity that exists among FC Copenhagen players and fans. Even the fact that racism might be a minor problem amongst FC Copenhagen fans, it sadly doesn’t mean that the problem is non-existing. We therefore urge all FC Copenhagen fans: Don’t ignore racism, but actively take a stand against it! Even apparently insignificant abusive comment’s concerning the colour of people’s skin, religion or ethnicity, can undermine the unity between FC Copenhagen fans, and form the basis of other and more violently forms of racism. Therefore it is important that we as FC Copenhagen fans in no way tolerates racism in connection with FC Copenhagen matche
